Job Overview and Responsibilities

This role requires procurement of materials and services at competitive prices from optimal sources, supported by thorough cost estimations and market comparisons. The responsibilities involve developing local and alternative vendors, participating in the selection and assessment of suppliers and contractors from a preferred vendor list, and maintaining a supplier database with performance metrics. Engaging in negotiations with suppliers and service providers, managing ongoing communications, expanding supplier relationships to foster collaboration, and ensuring strict adherence to legal and statutory purchasing regulations are crucial elements of the position. Additionally, the role demands maintaining proper documentation and records to facilitate internal and external audits.

Technical Skills and Experience

Expertise in SAP is mandatory for this role. Experience with procurement platforms such as Ivalua and Ariba is advantageous. Familiarity with contract management, particularly in civil, fabrication, and electrical sectors, is highly preferred.

Educational Eligibility

Applicants should hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization.
