Maybank Research focuses on delivering insightful, sharp, and timely analysis of securities markets across the region. The team provides broad market coverage from Southeast to North Asia through an extensive network of analysts.
Role Overview
The Macro team is seeking a detail-oriented individual to support their research activities as a research assistant.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide research assistance to the Macro team.
- Monitor and analyze economic trends and media reports within Asia.
- Manage and utilize databases such as CEIC and Bloomberg, and work with spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and financial models.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong interest in Asian macroeconomics, geopolitics, and financial markets.
- Possession of an Economics degree.
- Comfortable handling databases, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Advanced proficiency in Mandarin.
