Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantitative Risk Analyst versed in quantitative risk management to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining live risk models that ensure comprehensive oversight of market, liquidity, and execution risks across various global markets. Your work will include developing Value at Risk (VaR) frameworks, conducting stress tests, calibrating volatility curves, and creating market risk analytics to support scalable and automated trading strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with traders, developers, and operations teams to measure and manage risk effectively and innovate future risk tools.
• Handle daily risk inquiries, troubleshooting, providing consultation, supporting trading teams, coordinating with brokers and exchanges, investigating strategies, and monitoring exposures.
• Identify critical risks within algorithmic trading strategies and develop solutions to mitigate these risks.
• Lead the design and enhancement of margin, stress, credit, liquidity, and exposure models covering multiple asset classes.
• Create pricing, volatility, and risk sensitivity analytics specifically for derivative instruments.
• Transform model frameworks into robust, efficient Python implementations and oversee their integration into production systems.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 6 to 8 years of experience in institutional risk management or trading within multi-asset proprietary trading firms, hedge funds, asset managers, or investment banks.
• Familiarity with exchange connectivity and trading system environments.
• Proven experience dealing with electronic and algorithmic trading risk.
• Solid knowledge of quantitative finance, including strong expertise in probability and statistics.
• A degree or equivalent in scientific or mathematical disciplines, with preference for qualifications related to quantitative finance.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders such as traders, technical personnel, and external partners.
• Experience using third-party risk management platforms such as Barra, Axioma, or RiskMetrics is advantageous.
• Understanding of trade practices and country risk assessment.
