Role Overview

This full-time position, located on-site in Jiddah, entails responsibilities to guarantee the safety, efficiency, and compliance of flight operations. The Aircraft Dispatcher will be in charge of crafting and issuing flight plans, factoring in aircraft performance, routing, fuel calculations, and relevant regulations. Duties extend to monitoring weather conditions, overseeing flights mid-air, and cooperating with air traffic control, pilots, and ground teams to modify plans responsively. Maintaining meticulous records, following security and safety policies, and reacting swiftly to operational disturbances are key requirements. The role demands liaising with various internal and external collaborators to optimize scheduling and limit delays.

Key Qualifications

• Proficiency in meteorology with the capacity to analyze weather data for flight preparation and hazard evaluation.
• In-depth knowledge of aircraft operational capabilities, constraints, and necessities.
• Experience in scheduling flights, determining routes, and executing flight planning processes.
• Understanding of air traffic control procedures and communication protocols.
• Experience from military aviation or similarly structured operational settings is beneficial.
• Certification or licensing pertinent to aircraft dispatching and thorough comprehension of relevant aviation laws and safety norms.
• Strong analytical thinking, decisive judgment, and problem-solving aptitude under pressure and time constraints.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, capable of partnering effectively with diverse teams and flight personnel.
• High level of accuracy, organizational skills, and competence with flight planning and operational software applications.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays according to operational demand.
