About the Role
Fontainebleau Aviation, a subsidiary of Skyservice Business Aviation Inc., is seeking a dedicated Aircraft Detailer. This role involves meticulous cleaning and detailing of both the interior and exterior of aircraft. Duties include washing, waxing, polishing, and buffing surfaces with the aim of fulfilling customer standards. The candidate needs expertise in various cleaning agents and materials and must collaborate well both independently and within a team. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, and working under varying weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and polishing of aircraft interiors and exteriors to uphold high appearance standards
- Eliminate dirt, grease, and other contaminants from aircraft surfaces
- Employ appropriate cleaning products, waxes, and polishes to clean, protect, and enhance surfaces
- Buff and polish aircraft surfaces to achieve a glossy finish
- Apply decals and striping on aircraft as needed
- Inspect aircraft for damages and report findings to supervisory staff
- Maintain a well-organized inventory of all equipment, tools, and cleaning supplies
