Role Overview
The Air Traffic Services (ATS) Operations Administrator will deliver comprehensive administrative and coordination assistance to the ATS teams located in Christchurch. This multifaceted role includes responsibilities like facilitating travel arrangements, onboarding new personnel, coordinating meetings, managing rosters, overseeing training administration, handling documentation, supporting facility management, and participating in assurance activities.
Collaboration with managers, team leads, and other ATS staff will be frequent, requiring effective juggling of competing tasks. The role involves becoming a central knowledge resource for administrative procedures and systems, ensuring accuracy and currency in operational records and requirements.
Candidate Profile
We seek a proactive and highly organised individual who thrives on being a reliable figure that keeps processes fluid. The applicant should be adept at prioritising multiple demands, demonstrating initiative and adaptability amid evolving situations, while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
Strong communication and interpersonal capabilities are essential, along with confidence in interacting with diverse stakeholders. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, proven administrative experience, and skill in prioritising tasks and developing efficient administrative systems are critical. Though not mandatory, experience in aviation, engineering, or technology-driven environments is advantageous.
Above all, the candidate will embody teamwork, pride in delivering superior support, foster positive working relationships, and consistently prioritise customer service and safety.
