Role Summary

The AI Technical Product Manager will spearhead the vision, development, and delivery of AI-driven products and platforms. The ideal candidate blends solid product management skills with practical software development knowledge and a deep understanding of AI, machine learning, and modern technological frameworks. This position requires collaborating closely with engineering, data science, design, business, and leadership teams to convert business goals into scalable, dependable AI applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft and implement the product strategy, roadmap, and execution plans for AI-powered solutions.
• Discover opportunities to apply AI, machine learning, generative AI, and automation to solve business problems.
• Manage the entire product lifecycle encompassing research, requirement gathering, development, launching, and continuous improvement.
• Convert business needs into explicit product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering and data science teams on designing scalable AI and software architectures.
• Oversee backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and product release cycles.
• Work with developers and architects to evaluate technical feasibility, APIs, integrations, system designs, and trade-offs.
• Establish success metrics and leverage data analytics and customer insights to enhance product outcomes.
• Ensure compliance of AI solutions with standards on security, privacy, governance, explainability, reliability, and ethical AI implementation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders in business, technology, operations, sales, and executive leadership.
• Manage risks, dependencies, timelines, budgets, and delivery expectations strategically.
• Remain abreast of AI trends including large language models, machine learning advancements, cloud services, and emerging technologies.
• Mentor fellow product managers and contribute to elevating best practices within product and technology teams.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in product management, technical product management, software development, or a related tech role.
• Demonstrable track record delivering technology products, ideally AI-centric or data-driven.
• Hands-on programming expertise in languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
• Familiarity with software development processes, APIs, microservices, databases, cloud platforms, and system architecture.
• Experience collaborating directly with engineering and development teams.
• Strong grasp of AI and machine learning concepts including models, NLP, generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, evaluation, and deployment.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Skilled in developing product roadmaps, business cases, product requirement documents, user stories, and tracking product performance metrics.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, analytical thinking, and problem-solving aptitudes.
• Capability to thrive in fast-moving, collaborative environments.
