Job Summary
We are looking for an expert AI Security Researcher to contribute to our foundational, risk-focused cloud security strategy. This role involves in-depth technical research on AI-native and cloud-native environments to uncover significant, previously unaddressed security risks.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough technical investigations to identify novel threats and vulnerabilities unique to modern cloud and AI-native systems.
- Highlight the most critical unmitigated risks, collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to integrate findings into product development.
- Develop supporting proofs of risk and technical proof-of-concepts to demonstrate impacts and potential mitigations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure holistic risk identification and aid product scope exploration.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of practical experience in security or security research focused on contemporary cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, and Kubernetes.
- Proficient in scripting languages like Python and Go for automation and research purposes, along with query languages such as KQL and SQL for analyzing security telemetry data.
- Self-driven with excellent prioritization abilities to manage intricate research projects from conception to measurable outcomes.
- Strong communication skills with experience collaborating effectively across departments including Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
- Specialized expertise or research background in AI security, particularly concerning enterprise AI deployment risks.
Preferred Experience
- Participation in public forums through presentations, technical blogging, or research publications.
- Experience in analytical research using large-scale security analytics to generate statistically and operationally significant insights.
