AI Ops Engineer

About the Role

Based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, this position requires a professional with over 7 years of relevant experience to serve as an AI Ops Engineer. The role focuses on building the operational foundation necessary for enterprise AI platforms, empowering application teams to deploy AI solutions securely, consistently, and at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop standardized release pipelines and promotion controls for AI apps, agents, platform services, and configuration modifications.
• Guarantee deployments are reproducible with proper governance and documentation of releases.
• Apply controlled rollout methods, including canary releases and rollback procedures, to minimize production risks.
• Incorporate operational controls for AI models and assets to facilitate auditability and lifecycle management.
• Integrate AI-specific quality assurance protocols, telemetry systems, dashboards, runbooks, and criteria for production readiness into delivery workflows.
• Establish reusable standards and operational guidelines tailored for AI-centric teams.
• Provide transparency regarding AI workload consumption, covering model usage, token expenditure, platform capacity, quota oversight, and optimization possibilities.
• Transform validated operational approaches into reusable templates, release protocols, onboarding instructions, and operational playbooks.

Required Skills & Experience

• More than 7 years of experience in relevant roles.
• Solid background in production engineering involving cloud-native systems, AI technologies, or scalable API platforms in enterprise contexts.
• Hands-on proficiency with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools, including GitHub Actions or analogous automation solutions.
• Practical knowledge of LLMOps, telemetry, release governance, and production readiness standards.
• Experience implementing observability, change management, service reliability, and continuous operational enhancements.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with Platform Engineering, Quality Assurance/Site Reliability Engineering, Cybersecurity, Architecture, Product, and Delivery teams.
