Job description
Role Overview
We seek a skilled iOS Developer with a focused expertise on AI-first development. This unique position emphasizes leveraging AI coding tools and intelligent agents to accelerate writing, debugging, testing, refactoring, and delivering native iOS applications with high standards of engineering quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and sustain native iOS apps utilizing Swift and SwiftUI frameworks.
- Translate requirements into fully functioning features and manage releases through production.
- Integrate diverse APIs, authentication mechanisms, payment gateways, notifications, and external SDKs.
- Incorporate AI-assisted development tools within daily engineering workflows to enhance productivity.
- Critically review and validate AI-generated code outputs before final integration.
- Troubleshoot production-level bugs and enhance application performance.
- Create and maintain automated test suites to ensure app stability.
- Engage actively in code reviews, orchestrate CI/CD pipelines, and manage TestFlight and App Store deployment processes.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient with Swift programming language and SwiftUI framework.
- Strong grasp of iOS app architecture and compliance with Apple development guidelines.
- Experience with API integration, networking principles, concurrency, Git version control, and testing methodologies.
- Demonstrated history of shipping live iOS applications on the App Store.
- Expertise in using AI coding agents or tools directly within real-world development tasks.
- Capability to employ AI for understanding existing code, implementing new features, debugging, and secure refactoring.
- Competence in independently assessing AI-generated code to avoid unneeded or erroneous updates.
- Possess strong ownership mindset and problem-solving aptitude.
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing large-scale or production-level iOS applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD setups and test automation practices.
- Exposure to creating AI-enhanced features or integrating large language model APIs.
- Experience in enhancing engineering processes through AI and automation.
