Role Overview
This part-time, on-site JavaScript Developer position is based in Jeddah. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications focused on medical data handling and visualization. Daily responsibilities include implementing front-end interfaces, developing and integrating back-end services, enhancing application performance, and ensuring code quality via testing and reviews. The role requires close collaboration with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to convert requirements into scalable technical solutions, maintain documentation, and support the continuous improvement of existing systems.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient in front-end development using JavaScript and modern frameworks/libraries.
- Experienced in back-end development, including API design and integration, plus solid software development methodologies.
- Skilled in state management tools such as Redux.js or comparable technologies.
- Knowledgeable about web standards, responsive layouts, and cross-browser functionality.
- Familiar with version control tools, especially Git, and collaborative workflows.
- Capable of producing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code emphasizing testing and debugging.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude, working efficiently within cross-functional teams.
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working on healthcare or data-intensive applications is a plus.
