Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced AI Governance Lead based in Doha, Qatar for a yearly renewable position. The ideal candidate must possess a strong hands-on background in AI, Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLM) engineering coupled with practical expertise in AI governance, risk management, and controls. This role requires someone who has actively built, tested, evaluated, and deployed AI solutions rather than just experience in AI policy or compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy advanced AI, GenAI, and LLM-based systems.
- Create and maintain frameworks for AI governance, risk management, and control.
- Convert business needs and requirements into effective AI solutions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including technical experts, business stakeholders, risk managers, and governance personnel.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of combined experience in AI engineering and AI governance roles.
- Proven hands-on skills in developing solutions involving AI, Generative AI, LLMs, and machine learning.
- Extensive experience in testing, evaluating, and deploying AI systems.
- Solid knowledge of AI governance principles, risk assessment, and control mechanisms.
- Experience working within government entities or large organizations; prior experience within the GCC region is an advantage.
