As part of its social responsibility efforts, KOSIGN runs the Korea Software HRD Center, which offers 12-month IT training scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students in Cambodia, providing graduates pathways to careers with partner companies in South Korea.

Role Overview

This full-time position based in Phnom Penh requires an AI Engineer who will design, develop, and deploy machine learning and AI solutions that enhance KOSIGN's offerings in B2B Fin-Tech, e-finance, and IT outsourcing fields. The AI Engineer's daily duties include creating and fine-tuning AI models, analyzing large data collections, and working closely with software developers and product teams to embed AI functionalities into existing technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and deploy machine learning models to support business initiatives.
• Analyze substantial datasets to extract actionable insights and refine AI algorithms.
• Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to integrate AI features into company platforms.
• Investigate and evaluate new AI methodologies to enhance existing capabilities.
• Produce and maintain thorough technical documentation.
• Participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical AI solutions.
• Support AI projects from initial concept through deployment.

Required Qualifications

• Strong communication skills to work effectively across different teams and document clearly.
• Proficient analytical abilities for data assessment, model validation, and problem-solving in AI contexts.
• Project management skills for organizing, prioritizing, and delivering solutions on schedule.
• Background in engineering disciplines such as Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields with strong quantitative and technical focus.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Programming expertise in Python and familiarity with data pipeline development and cloud services.
• A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related areas is preferred.
• Ability to quickly assimilate new technologies and adapt in a multicultural work environment.
