AI Engineer, AI Assistant

Job Overview

This role involves designing and developing core agent architectures and creating tooling to support these agents. The selected engineer will also build and enhance APIs for managing agent lifecycle and facilitate deployment to ensure efficient runtime access. A key focus will be optimizing training related to agent memory and tool use, with goals to improve tool-calling precision, enhance multi-turn instruction compliance, and reduce hallucination effects.

Data Management and Evaluation

Responsibilities extend to handling workflows for data collection, cleaning, synthesis, and annotation after training phases. The engineer will contribute to the development of annotation guidelines and oversee coordination with external vendors for annotation tasks.

Candidate Requirements

• A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline is mandatory.
• At least one year of full-time professional involvement in AI workflow design, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and optimization of workflows tailored to user-facing AI products.
• At least one year of full-time experience working with multimodal agents and reinforcement learning or model training.
• Prior experience with e-commerce platforms and agent technologies is considered a strong advantage.
