AI Enablement Engineer

Role Overview

Taktile is driving digital transformation for financial institutions by becoming truly AI-native. We are expanding rapidly with a broad enterprise client base including banks and insurance companies. We are actively seeking an AI Enablement Engineer to join our team as the first dedicated hire in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with teams in Engineering, Go-To-Market (GTM), Customer Success, Finance, and Operations to discover opportunities where AI can minimize operational inefficiencies.
• Develop internal tools and automated agents from conception to deployment, integrating Taktile's SaaS systems with everyday employee processes.
• Promote genuine adoption by conducting workshops, pairing sessions, and office hours, focusing on actual usage and time efficiency over just delivering features.
• Work alongside Security and IT teams to implement appropriate controls including data protection guardrails, access management, and audit trails safeguarding client information.
• Monitor advancements in AI technologies, identifying and integrating valuable models and tools to enhance business operations.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in software development with Python deployed in cloud-native production environments.
• Practical hands-on experience building with modern Large Language Model (LLM) tooling including agents, tool utilization, prompt engineering, model chain processing, and performance evaluations beyond basic experimentation.
• Proven track record in integrating SaaS application programming interfaces (REST, webhooks, OAuth) handling complex system integrations.
• A pragmatic approach emphasizing measurable user adoption over architectural complexity.
• Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in developing internal tools, improving Developer Experience (DX), platform engineering, or technical enablement roles.
• Experience managing unstructured data or working with AI governance in regulated sectors.
• Comfortable facilitating internal workshops and collaborative programming sessions.

Employment Details

Employment will be with regional Taktile entities depending on the role location, such as Taktile LLC (US), GmbH (Germany), Ltd (UK), or SRL (Romania). Details will be specified during the offer phase.
