AI Data Annotation Specialist – Computer Vision

About the Role

Roboi is seeking an AI Data Annotation Specialist focused on Computer Vision to join our AI and Machine Learning team. This full-time position is based in Gurugram, Haryana, India, and involves generating precise annotated data essential for training computer vision algorithms. The candidate will play a crucial role in labeling images and videos according to set standards, demanding a keen eye for detail and consistency, along with an enthusiasm for AI and Computer Vision technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Label and annotate image and video data sets to facilitate AI/ML model training.
• Detect and tag relevant entities such as objects, people, and activities in visual content.
• Execute various annotation methods including bounding boxes, polygons, classifications, segmentation, and keypoints.
• Adhere closely to annotation protocols ensuring uniformity across all datasets.
• Audit annotations for accuracy and perform corrective measures when needed.
• Maintain organization and upkeep of annotated dataset repositories.
• Collaborate closely with AI/ML teams to meet data annotation needs.
• Assist in preparing training and validation datasets tailored for Computer Vision model development.
• Uphold strict confidentiality and security standards for all datasets handled.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Fundamental knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision concepts.
• Excellent attention to detail and observational abilities.
• Capability to accurately identify and categorize objects and actions within images and videos.
• Comfort with managing large quantities of visual data.
• Consistent adherence to annotation instructions.
• Basic computing skills and aptitude for swiftly learning new annotation tools.
• Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in data annotation, including image and video labeling.
• Familiarity with annotation software such as CVAT, Label Studio, Roboflow, LabelImg, or Supervisely.
• Basic understanding of object detection, image classification, segmentation in Computer Vision.
• Knowledge of AI/ML datasets is an added advantage.

Educational Requirements

A bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or allied fields is desirable. New graduates with a passion for AI, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision are also welcome to apply.
