Role Overview and Responsibilities
We are seeking an AI Cloud and DevOps Engineer to take charge of developing and maintaining the AWS infrastructure necessary for our AI applications. This role involves automating deployments and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as AI, data science, and software engineering to support AI and machine learning workloads.
- Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure supporting AI solutions.
- Create and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for web services, APIs, and AI workloads.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and changes using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Deploy and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker containers on AWS ECS or EKS platforms.
- Facilitate machine learning operations including model deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
- Implement extensive logging, security controls, system monitoring, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Optimize the performance and cost-efficiency of cloud-based resources.
- Work collaboratively with AI, data, and product teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient with AWS services such as EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, Route 53, ALB/NLB, Auto Scaling, and AWS Secrets Manager.
- Experience with DevOps tools and technologies including Docker, Terraform or CloudFormation, Git, GitHub Actions or Jenkins or GitLab CI, Linux operating systems, and Bash scripting.
- Knowledge of AI and data-focused deployment practices, including MLOps principles and deploying large language models (LLMs); familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation and vector databases is advantageous.
- Competency in programming with Python, Bash scripting, and basic SQL querying.
Preferred Skills
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
- Experience with AWS Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, or Kubernetes on EKS.
- Familiarity with databases and search platforms like Redis, PostgreSQL, and OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.
- Working knowledge of monitoring tools including Prometheus and Grafana.
- Understanding of AWS messaging and event services like SQS, EventBridge, and SNS.
- Background in infrastructure security practices or DevSecOps methodologies.
Additional Information
Location for this position is in Kochi, Kerala, India, with work performed onsite at the office premises. Candidates should have 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience. Employment type is full-time.
