AI Architecture Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking an AI Architecture Manager to spearhead the development and continuous advancement of enterprise AI platforms and architecture frameworks. This role involves crafting scalable, secure AI environments that support innovations like Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and other advanced AI workloads. You will partner closely with both business and technical teams to implement AI capabilities that promote responsible AI practices while driving innovation and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and refine enterprise AI architecture frameworks incorporating Generative AI, LLMs, and multi-modal AI solutions.
• Develop target-state AI platform architectures along with roadmaps that enable scalable AI adoption across the enterprise.
• Assess new AI technologies and architectural patterns, offering strategic guidance on technology choices and investments.
• Design and operationalize comprehensive AI foundations encompassing model development, deployment, monitoring, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Integrate and evaluate technologies across data platforms, AI/ML ecosystems, cloud infrastructures, security, and governance systems.
• Engineer bespoke platform components to meet enterprise demands for AI scalability, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Enhance compute and model-serving infrastructures to optimize performance, availability, cost, and observability.
• Define standards, principles, and best practices for AI platforms that guarantee secure, scalable AI delivery.
• Implement frameworks covering Responsible AI, security, compliance, and risk management throughout AI systems.
• Work collaboratively with engineering, data, security, and business units to align AI architecture with corporate goals and regulatory mandates.
• Offer technical leadership and guidance during AI transformation and modernization projects.

Job Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in AI Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Architecture, or Data Platform leadership roles.
• Solid experience designing and deploying enterprise-grade AI and ML platforms.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, multi-modal AI models, and contemporary AI architectural designs.
• Familiarity with cloud providers like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud and their AI/ML offerings.
• Proficiency in MLOps, AI platform engineering, model deployment, monitoring, and AI operations.
• Designing governance, security, compliance, and Responsible AI policies for enterprise-wide solutions.
• Strong command of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and scalable infrastructure frameworks.
• Experienced in guiding architecture decisions and shaping technology strategies across diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in establishing enterprise AI foundations, AI Centers of Excellence, or managing extensive AI transformation efforts.
• Knowledge in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, AI agents, orchestration frameworks, and complex AI platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerization, distributed computing, and high-performance AI infrastructure.
• Skill in AI observability, optimizing model performance, ensuring platform reliability, and cost control.
• Excellent stakeholder management, consulting experience, and executive-level communication capabilities.
• Preferred certifications include those in Cloud Architecture, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Enterprise Architecture.
