Overview
This role involves designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure AI and data architectures that support large enterprise requirements. The architect will lead the development of data models, establish data standards, and define processes that facilitate seamless AI integration within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure AI and data architectures tailored to organizational needs.
- Lead establishment and refinement of data models, standards, and associated processes across teams.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to convert business objectives into effective data architecture solutions.
- Manage and integrate diverse and complex data sources to build comprehensive data ecosystems supporting AI initiatives.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to data engineers, scientists, and relevant personnel.
- Assess, choose, and implement the best-suited tools, platforms, and technologies for optimizing AI and data workflows.
- Ensure data processes and AI models maintain high standards of accuracy, security, and operational efficiency.
- Foster cross-departmental collaboration to advance data-driven decision-making within the organization.
- Stay current with emerging AI and data architecture trends and apply new knowledge in strategic planning.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated track record in designing and managing complex, large-scale data architectures.
- Proficiency with AI technologies and machine learning frameworks.
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or equivalents.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
- In-depth knowledge of data warehousing technologies such as Snowflake or Redshift.
- Understanding of data governance frameworks, security protocols, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic, high-paced environments demonstrating effective collaboration.
- Excellent analytical thinking and innovative problem-solving capabilities.
Educational Background and Additional Credentials
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Extensive industry experience exceeding 10 years in AI and data architecture roles.
- Preferred certifications include Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or AWS Certified Data Analytics.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a history of managing complex AI and data projects.
