Their Intelligent Agreement Management platform integrates critical business data trapped in documents with enterprise systems, enhancing efficiency and decreasing operational costs. Role Overview
The AI Agentic Engineer position on the End User Services team focuses on advancing the next generation of automation within Docusign’s IT operations. This role combines experimentation with artificial intelligence models and foundational IT automation practices. The primary responsibility includes designing, constructing, and iteratively improving AI agents and automation workflows to expedite, stabilize, and simplify internal IT services for employees. The position encourages curiosity and hands-on engineering, emphasizing out-of-the-box solutions using native platform capabilities in tools like ServiceNow, while also developing custom integrations as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, organize, and enhance AI prompts and agent/tool architectures to optimize performance.
- Continuously assess AI agents to refine their accuracy and operational effectiveness.
- Design and implement agentic AI solutions that autonomously address routine IT tickets, triage requests, or assist users in problem resolution.
- Create and maintain seamless integrations among core platforms such as ServiceNow, Okta, Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace using native connectors, webhooks, and custom APIs.
- Evaluate when to utilize native platform workflows versus building custom scripts in Python or PowerShell to achieve operational goals.
- Adopt and apply "Zero Trust" security principles, ensuring automation uses least-privilege access and that activities are securely logged.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Security teams and End User Services Engineering to identify user friction points and develop automated self-service solutions.
Working Arrangements
This role is hybrid, requiring a combination of remote work and at least two days per week access to the Dublin office. Job designations such as In Office, Hybrid, or Remote are specific to roles and can be adjusted based on company needs and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT operations, automation, scripting, or backend development.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Proficient in Python or a comparable programming language with experience in REST API and webhook integration.
- Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, or developing agentic frameworks.
- Familiarity with contemporary SaaS and enterprise platforms including Google Workspace, Slack, and Jira.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of multi-agent system design or testing methodologies.
- Experience with IT service management or ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
- Basic understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technologies and vector database implementations.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, accompanied by understanding of DevOps and CI/CD workflows.
- Proven track record of automating manual IT processes through custom scripts or tools.
