Job description
Overview
This full-time permanent role, based in Gisborne or Whakatane, involves managing a diverse agribusiness customer portfolio. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will collaborate closely with credit analysts and product partners to design and implement strategic financial solutions through innovative approaches and insights. Your role will focus on strengthening existing relationships and cultivating new ones, delivering expert lending advice, enhancing operational efficiencies, and deepening client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied portfolio of Agribusiness customers.
- Collaborate with credit analysts and product partners to develop financial strategies.
- Provide expert lending guidance and financial solutions tailored to agribusiness needs.
- Drive process efficiencies and increase client coverage and involvement.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Agribusiness, Finance, or Business discipline.
- Experience in banking, financial services, business, or farming industries.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial, business, and farm management practices.
- Proven track record of excellent customer service.
- Ability to identify opportunities, innovate, and enhance productivity.
- Experience in agribusiness lending and credit risk management is favorable.
