Agent At Your Service (AYS)

Position Overview

As an Agent At Your Service (AYS) for Marriott International in Doha, Qatar, you will play a vital role in addressing guest needs through various communication channels including telephone, email, chat, and mobile devices. Your responsibilities will include managing the telephone switchboard, processing special guest requests such as wake-up calls, and ensuring guest concerns are accurately recorded and resolved by liaising with appropriate departments.

Key Duties

• Respond to, log, and process all guest inquiries and concerns across multiple communication platforms.
• Operate telephone switchboard, direct calls appropriately, and relay messages precisely.
• Coordinate with departments such as Bellperson and Housekeeping to fulfill guest requests and ensure satisfaction.
• Provide detailed information about room features, hotel amenities, and local attractions.
• Handle room service requests, assist with menu-related inquiries, and register orders into the point-of-sale system.
• Support guests with internet access and in-room entertainment systems.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to company policies including confidentiality and asset protection.
• Practice hospitality standards by warmly welcoming guests, anticipating needs, and assisting individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally during all guest interactions.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve shared objectives and comply with quality assurance standards.
• Physically able to stand, sit, walk for long periods and handle items weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Candidate Profile

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• No prior work experience in related roles required.
• No supervisory experience or certifications needed.
