Afternoon Package Handler in Victoria, BC

About the Role

As an Afternoon Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages within a fast-paced warehouse environment. The position may require the operation of heavy machinery to support task completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Master and accurately follow UPS package handling protocols.
• Load and unload packages onto trailers or delivery vehicles efficiently.
• Operate during assigned shift hours from Monday to Friday, between 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Capability to lift weights up to 70 lbs (32 kg).
• Able to handle packages weighing up to 150 lbs.
• Ability to read and memorize postal codes accurately.
• Availability for flexible shift schedules, including mandatory work on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse setting is preferred but not mandatory.
