Affiliate Program Manager

About the Role

Backdropsource is initiating a new Affiliate Program focused on performance-based marketing, targeting publishers, bloggers, consultants, and YouTubers to promote our products. We seek an Affiliate Program Manager to establish this affiliate channel from the ground up, including setting up the program within a reputable affiliate network, onboarding partners who deliver real conversions, and steadily growing this revenue stream.

Key Responsibilities

• Research industry benchmarks and set an attractive commission rate for affiliates.
• Enroll and manage the affiliate program via a recognized affiliate network platform.
• Collaborate with internal design and content teams to create a comprehensive creative kit containing banners, product feeds, pre-written reviews, swipe emails, and tracking codes.
• Recruit affiliates from various segments such as event consultants, agency blogs, church media outlets, school/PTA websites, and photography review sites.
• Implement and oversee tracking systems, attribution methodologies, and commission/margin models.
• Maintain strong affiliate relationships, handle contract negotiations, and mediate any disputes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of five years of experience in Affiliate Marketing or in a closely related discipline.
• Proven skills in negotiation and managing partner relationships effectively.
• Practical experience administering affiliate networks or platforms.
• Expertise in tracking, attribution, and constructing margin and commission models.
• Ability to coordinate creative production with designers and writers efficiently.
