Overview

The position focuses on catalyzing Adobe's business growth throughout Sub-Saharan Africa by orchestrating vendor partnerships, expanding partner channels, crafting robust business strategies, augmenting sales pipelines, and pushing toward revenue and profit milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the principal liaison managing the strategic relationship with Adobe as the main vendor contact.
  • Design and implement comprehensive business plans aiming to meet set revenue and margin objectives.
  • Identify, onboard, empower, and support channel partners across multiple African nations.
  • Oversee business operations spread over several countries within the Sub-Saharan region.
  • Develop and maintain a strong and accurate sales pipeline, improving forecast reliability.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Presales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.

Candidate Requirements and Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, IT, or a related discipline.
  • At least three years of relevant experience in one or more areas: product management, vendor management, business development, channel management, or sales within IT distribution.
  • Prior experience handling enterprise software or cloud vendors such as Adobe, Microsoft, or AWS.
  • Familiarity with Sub-Saharan African markets and their unique business environments.

  • Strong capabilities in vendor relationship management and channel partner development.
  • Proficiency in business planning, sales forecasting, and managing revenue plus gross margins.
  • Skillful in delivering executive presentations and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical thinking paired with commercial insight and polished English communication.

Performance Indicators

  • Achievement of targeted revenue and gross margin figures.
  • Quality and effectiveness of vendor relationships.
  • Recruitment and activation rates of channel partners.
  • Expansion of the sales pipeline and the accuracy of forecasts.

  • Growth and penetration into regional markets.

Ideal Candidate Profile

An exemplary applicant is an experienced IT distribution professional (10–12 years) who has led business units or vendor practices, particularly with portfolios including Microsoft, AWS, or Adobe. They should be adept at end-to-end revenue and profitability ownership, manage teams, act as the principal brand contact, and drive platform-based enterprise software and cloud businesses via partner ecosystems. Experience in multiple African markets with strong cross-cultural stakeholder management skills is highly valued.

Additional Information

Preferred candidates will likely come from notable IT distributors such as Redington, Ingram Micro, Westcon-Comstor, or TD SYNNEX and have demonstrated commercial success meeting targets. This onsite role is based in Lagos State, Nigeria.
