Orbit Gravity Academy is a fast-expanding academic coaching institute located in Maragondanahalli, Bengaluru, serving students from Classes 6 to 12. The academy offers diverse programs tailored to CBSE, ICSE, State Board, Foundation levels, along with competitive exam preparations such as JEE and NEET.
Role Overview
The Admission Counsellor will oversee the entire engagement cycle for prospective students and their parents, starting from the initial inquiry through to admission, and will maintain ongoing communications throughout the academic term. This position is critical in ensuring smooth admission operations and excellent parent-student support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, and other communication channels, understanding student needs, and advising on suitable courses and batches.
- Conduct counseling sessions and follow-up discussions with parents and students to encourage informed admissions decisions.
- Convert interested leads into enrolled students using consultative selling techniques and maintain a systematic pipeline for follow-ups.
- Clearly articulate course offerings, fees, schedules, scholarship options, and academic programs, scheduling center visits and demo classes as required.
- Serve as the primary liaison for parents post-admission, fostering strong relationships and addressing routine queries while coordinating resolution of concerns.
- Provide timely communication on academic updates, schedules, tests, events, and collect parent feedback for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate academic operations including daily batch schedules, attendance tracking, classroom requirements, and liaise with faculty regarding timetables, tests, and doubt sessions.
- Support academic events such as parent-teacher meetings, assessments, orientations, and ensure accurate student record-keeping and smooth management of academic processes.
- Maintain detailed reports on leads, follow-ups, admissions, and parent concerns, assisting management with regular updates and supporting marketing campaigns and admission drives as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Excellent communication abilities combined with strong relationship-building skills.
- Confident engagement with parents and capability in inside sales with diligent follow-up practices.
- Highly organized, capable of managing multiple responsibilities and proactive in meeting targets with accountability.
- Proficient with WhatsApp, Excel or Google Sheets, and CRM platforms.
- Passionate about education and student development sectors.
- Experience ranging from 1 to 4 years in admissions, education counselling, inside sales, or related roles; exceptional freshers may also be considered.
