Role Overview
As the Administrative Manager at iStore, you will lead teams while delivering constructive feedback to ensure an exceptional experience for both employees and customers. You will be responsible for managing the back-end operations of the iStore, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. A key part of your role will be to minimize risks to the business by strictly following company policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Provide ongoing support and feedback to team members.
- Ensure all back-of-house operations comply with company policies and SOPs.
- Optimize operational processes and systems continuously.
- Identify and mitigate risks to business performance.
Candidate Requirements
- Completed Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE). A tertiary qualification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading teams in a fast-paced, demanding, and high turnover work environment.
- Strong expertise in retail operations and process management.
- Experience in matrix management to drive collaboration across multiple business functions.
- Ability to work swiftly and adaptively in a dynamic environment, combined with strategic thinking skills.
- Proven record of delivering outstanding customer service experiences.
- Demonstrated success in achieving store targets and driving business results.
