About the Role
KPMG's Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS) center in Kingston supports its U.S. counterparts by providing essential administrative functions. The Administrative Coordinator will play a vital role in the Tax Learning and Development team, assisting with the organization and delivery of training programs. This position requires someone detail-focused, effective at multitasking under pressure, and capable of resolving problems analytically.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain proactive communication with clients, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
- Collaborate closely with various internal KPMG departments to address requests efficiently.
- Organize meetings by preparing agendas, documenting discussions, and archiving meeting records.
- Assist in creating reports and presentation materials.
- Analyze and resolve administrative challenges by identifying and communicating effective solutions.
- Execute diverse administrative tasks as assigned throughout the workday.
- Accurately input data into SharePoint databases in multiple formats.
- Transform data in Excel using functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and slicers.
- Generate and review reports from KPMG's systems, including Focus analytics and employee bios, after system training.
- Coordinate ordering and shipment logistics for printed training materials.
- Support virtual training sessions by managing attendance tracking tools, creating and running interactive polls, and reporting poll results, with training provided.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in administrative roles or related support functions.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Solid working knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, slicers, and VLOOKUP.
- Basic familiarity with SharePoint.
- Strong problem identification and resolution capabilities related to standard processes.
- Ability to manage daily tasks autonomously and effectively handle escalated issues.
- Exceptional attention to detail.

Additional Information
- JESS operates a hybrid work model, permitting staff to work remotely within Jamaica with an expectation to be physically present in the office at least five days monthly, and potentially more as business demands require.
