Role Overview
We are looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant to be based at our Sydney office. This role involves managing day-to-day office operations such as answering phone calls, welcoming visitors, and handling correspondence. Key duties include organizing meetings, maintaining executive calendars, preparing and organizing various documents, and providing administrative support to leadership. Additional tasks encompass data entry, filing, inventory management of office supplies, and general clerical and reception responsibilities. The ideal candidate will help ensure smooth operational workflows and foster a professional and inviting office environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven skills in general administrative assistance and clerical duties including scheduling, document handling, and office coordination.
- Excellent communication capabilities combined with professional phone etiquette for effective interaction with clients, team members, and external contacts.
- Experience supporting executives with calendar management, meeting preparation, and related follow-up activities.
- Familiarity with government bodies such as ATO and ASIC and handling related documentation or communications.
- Competency in office software suites, including Microsoft Office or equivalent, along with fundamental data entry and record maintenance skills.
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment while paying close attention to detail.
- Reliable, discreet with confidential information, and client-service oriented in approach.
- Background in accounting, taxation, or professional services sectors is preferred.
- Relevant certification or diploma in business administration or related disciplines is an advantage but not a strict requirement.
