Role Overview

This pivotal position is central to managing the winery’s information, reporting, and business systems. The role focuses on developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, KPI scorecards, and operational reporting systems to enhance visibility and support informed operational and strategic decisions.

Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, the role oversees the accuracy and maintenance of core business systems, manages procurement processes, financial administration, and offers comprehensive site-wide administrative support. Collaboration spans Winery Operations, Viticulture, Grower Relations, Finance, Procurement, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy, streamlined procedures, and solid support for performance-driven decision-making.

Key Duties

  • Oversee the site’s reporting tools, dashboards, and business platforms, maintaining stringent data integrity and governance for comprehensive operational insight.
  • Administer essential systems including Vintrace, JDE, Power BI, SharePoint, ensuring accurate master data and user support.
  • Identify and implement automation initiatives and system improvements to increase efficiency and digital adoption across the winery.
  • Manage procurement activities, including purchase orders, accounts payable, supplier relations, and financial reporting.
  • Provide broad administrative support such as contractor coordination, fleet management, travel arrangements, and communications at the site level.
  • Generate analytical reports to aid in operational performance, stock control, cost management, and data-informed decision-making.
  • Promote continual enhancements in systems, reporting, administration, and compliance aligned with health, safety, environmental, quality, and food safety standards.

Candidate Profile

  • Experienced in administrative, financial, or business systems roles, preferably within manufacturing or production settings.
  • Competent in creating dashboards, KPI scorecards, or business intelligence reporting tools.
  • Strong familiarity with ERP, reporting, and business management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize business operations through automation, workflow redesign, or system upgrades.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI or similar analytics platforms.
  • Experience administering ERP or manufacturing systems such as Vintrace and JDE, focusing on data accuracy and user support.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to interpret trends and provide actionable business insights.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • A proactive, continuous improvement mindset toward problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Background in operational, manufacturing, winery, FMCG, or agricultural sectors is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of procurement, accounts payable, and business administration processes.
