Actuarial Manager - General Insurance

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled actuarial professional to lead and manage a team focused on pricing and quotation development within emerging and specialized insurance segments. These segments include affinity proposals, parametric insurance products, and government-linked health and crop insurance schemes.

The role involves developing and validating pricing frameworks based on environmental and agricultural indices such as Air Quality Index (AQI), rainfall, and temperature to support innovative insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee pricing and quoting activities for affinity, parametric, and government health and crop insurance products.
• Lead actuarial analysis incorporating environmental indicators like AQI, rainfall, and temperature.
• Drive strategic and innovative approaches in actuarial pricing for specialized insurance segments.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a dynamic actuarial team.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Strong actuarial expertise with analytical aptitude.
• Experience in actuarial pricing within general, health, or crop insurance domains is preferred.
• Ability to design, validate, and apply pricing models linked to environmental and agricultural data.
• Excellent leadership skills to manage and inspire teams.
• Educational background: Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Mathematics and Computer Applications, or Statistics.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive fixed salary ranging between 3,000,000 to 3,500,000 INR per annum, supplemented by variable pay components and inclusive of all standard company benefits.
