Accounts Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to join Meha Pharma in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will oversee daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with statutory requirements to support our financial health and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, ledger reviews, and bank reconciliations.
• Handle payroll accounting, including salary entries, related adjustments, and reconciliations.
• Manage GST compliance such as filing returns, reconciling accounts, claiming input tax credits, and maintaining all necessary documentation.
• Oversee TDS activities including deduction, payments, filing returns, reconciling and issuing certificates to comply with regulations.
• Ensure accurate statutory compliance and reconciliation for PF, ESIC, and other relevant accounts.
• Coordinate timely completion of ROC filings and other statutory compliances applicable to the organization.
• Verify and process payments to vendors, customers, and other business partners with appropriate approvals.
• Monitor and control receivables, payables, collections, and outstanding payments diligently.
• Conduct thorough reconciliations for bank accounts, customer/vendor ledgers, GST, TDS, PF/ESIC, and other statutory accounts.
• Lead and supervise the accounts team by reviewing their daily activities and providing guidance.
• Liaise with auditors, consultants, banks, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Maintain comprehensive and organized accounting records, supporting documents, and statutory files.
• Assist senior management with MIS reporting, financial analyses, cash flow planning, and other financial statements.
• Ensure full adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and statutory regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a Master of Commerce (M.Com), Inter CA, or ICWA certification with over 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
