Accounts Intern

Position Overview

We seek a driven and meticulous Accounts Intern to support our Finance and Accounts team in handling daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting entries utilizing Tally software.
• Record transactions including sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments seamlessly.
• Generate and organize invoices, vouchers, and associated documentation.
• Support bank and ledger reconciliation processes.
• Maintain comprehensive accounts payable and receivable records.
• Compile fundamental financial reports using Tally and Microsoft Excel tools.
• Ensure accuracy and currency of all accounting records.
• Collaborate with internal departments on billings, invoicing, and payment follow-ups.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Currently enrolled in or holder of B.Com, M.Com, or MBA in Finance.
• Practical experience with Tally or Tally Prime is essential.
• Solid grasp of foundational accounting concepts.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with GST and TDS is a valuable advantage.
• Strong numeric aptitude and analytical capabilities.
• Detail-oriented mindset ensuring correctness and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills coupled with eagerness to learn and adapt.

Preferred Attributes

Candidates with hands-on experience in Tally Prime, capability in recording basic accounting entries, and familiarity with managing invoices, ledgers, receipts, payments, and bank reconciliation will be favored.

Stipend

This internship offers a monthly stipend ranging from INR 5000 to INR 8000.
