Accountant

Overview

Raj Textiles seeks a skilled Accountant to handle core accounting functions including daily bookkeeping, taxation, statutory compliance, banking activities, and reporting. The role requires familiarity with Tally Prime or ERP systems and involves working onsite in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including recording daily transactions such as sales, purchases, receipts, and payments using Tally Prime or ERP software.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring prompt vendor payments and timely follow-up of outstanding dues.
• Handle petty cash transactions related to daily expenses for the factory and office, including transaction processing and reconciliation.
• Ensure proper taxation and regulatory compliance by calculating and filing monthly or quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).
• Generate E-way bills for the dispatch and inward movement of textiles and garments.
• Calculate, deduct, and timely file Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) obligations.
• Conduct bank reconciliations daily or weekly to maintain accurate bank statements.
• Prepare weekly Management Information System (MIS) reports detailing cash flow status, outstanding receivables, and expenses.
• Support senior accountants or auditors during year-end financial statement preparation and company audits.
