Job Overview

Bhagwati Textiles is seeking a meticulous and competent Accountant to oversee daily accounting tasks and ensure precise financial reporting within the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive daily accounting records and financial transactions.
• Manage GST compliance, including calculation, reconciliation, and filing of returns.
• Oversee TDS computations, deductions, payment processing, and regulatory compliance.
• Handle income tax matters along with other applicable taxation duties.
• Prepare and maintain final accounts and financial statements such as Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.
• Perform bank, ledger, and account reconciliations regularly.
• Keep accurate books of accounts and necessary supporting documentation.
• Ensure timely adherence to statutory compliances and proper financial record maintenance.
• Support audit processes, tax assessments, and other financial evaluations.
• Monitor accounts payable, receivable, and manage outstanding balances.
• Verify accuracy of accounting entries while complying with accounting and tax regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Accounting principles, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance mandates.
• Proven experience in preparing final accounts and balance sheets.
• Strong understanding of ledger management, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency with Tally or ERP systems and Microsoft Excel tools.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• High attention to detail ensuring accuracy in all financial operations.
• Capability to independently manage comprehensive accounting and taxation processes.
