Position Overview
As an Account Manager, your primary focus will be identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing client relationships to enhance both gross profit and long-term account value. You will promote Advania's extensive portfolio of technology solutions and services to help customers meet their business goals.

Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and service growth within current accounts.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, gaining a thorough understanding of customers' business objectives.
- Generate and qualify sales opportunities within existing clients and targeted prospects.
- Oversee the sales process from initial opportunity discovery to proposal, negotiation, and successful client onboarding.
- Present and position Advania's solutions portfolio, including Managed Services, Cloud, Microsoft products, Security, Infrastructure, and Workplace solutions.
- Collaborate closely with pre-sales experts and solution architects to craft persuasive customer proposals.
- Maintain accurate sales pipelines, CRM data, forecasts, and account plans.
- Keep informed about market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive activities to offer trusted advice to customers.
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue, gross profit, and customer retention goals.
Key Success Indicators
- Active management of a qualified sales pipeline.
- Consistent generation of new customer opportunities and achievement of targets.
- Comprehensive understanding of Advania's VAR (Value-Added Reseller) offerings.
- Committed to attending Advania offices or client sites at least three days per week.
- Develop and maintain solid collaborations with internal teams and operations.
- Efficiently manage and meet customer requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven success in strategic B2B IT sales within a VAR, MSP, or systems integrator environment.
- Strong knowledge of Advania’s data center, networking, cybersecurity, modern workplace, end-user computing, and audiovisual products.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills capable of engaging stakeholders across multiple levels.
- Ability to identify client challenges and align technology solutions with their business outcomes.
- Self-driven, commercially focused, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Experience managing sales pipelines, producing reliable forecasts, and meeting or surpassing gross profit targets.
- A collaborative mindset to work effectively alongside solution specialists, pre-sales teams, and operations.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel throughout the UK to support key executive client relationships, strategic sales opportunities, partner engagements, and broader business expansion initiatives.
