Job description
About the Company
We are collaborating with a rapidly expanding tech-enabled Food & Beverage (F&B) solutions firm based in Singapore. The company operates its centralized kitchen and integrates technology, data analytics, and proprietary logistics to deliver premium meals and corporate catering services nationwide. They emphasize operational excellence, consistency, and superior customer experience, serving a diverse range of corporate clients and events. As they scale their B2B foodservice operations, they seek an Account Manager focused on client growth and retention.
Role Overview
As an Account Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of corporate clients, predominantly aiming to increase revenues, deepen client relationships, and uncover new opportunities within existing accounts. Collaboration with senior-level client representatives and internal teams will be vital, managing the customer lifecycle from initial discovery through contract negotiation, delivery, and sustained account growth. This role is hands-on and business-oriented, tailored for a proactive individual passionate about relationship-building and problem-solving to transform client accounts into enduring partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and expand a designated portfolio of B2B accounts by driving renewals, upselling, and cross-selling initiatives.
- Establish and nurture strong connections with important stakeholders, including senior executives, operational teams, finance, and procurement.
- Lead the full sales cycle—spanning discovery, mapping solutions, trials, pricing negotiations, and deal closure.
- Conduct product trials, showcase demonstrations, and site assessments when necessary.
- Precisely identify client needs and tailor appropriate solutions that deliver significant value.
- Address client objections with professionalism and strategy, ensuring commercial interests are safeguarded.
- Prepare comprehensive quotations, proposals, and negotiate commercial terms accurately.
- Ensure thorough documentation of orders detailing services, sites, scope, schedules, billing, and agreed terms for seamless internal coordination.
- Proactively oversee contract renewals and retention strategies, spotting churn risks early and implementing corrective measures.
- Collaborate closely with operations and internal departments to assure consistent, high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain rigorous CRM data discipline, ensuring account records, sales opportunities, forecasts, and pipeline data remain current and precise.
- Collect feedback and market intelligence to detect ongoing client needs, pain points, and areas for product, process, or service improvements.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 1 to 2 years of professional experience in B2B account management, sales, business development, or related fields.
- Demonstrate robust stakeholder management capabilities, comfortable interfacing with senior decision-makers and managing multiple parties internally and externally.
- Experienced and confident in commercial negotiations, including pricing discussions, objection handling, procurement processes, and deal closure.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, especially in managing quotations, order documentation, and customer specifications.
- Proficient in data-centric workflows, familiar with CRM tools, pipeline oversight, and sales forecasting methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively lead structured client discussions and advance opportunities.
- Adaptable to dynamic, fast-moving, and evolving work environments where shifting priorities and ambiguity are common.
- Customer-centric with a strong business acumen, committed to delivering outstanding customer experiences while meeting commercial objectives.
