The Account Manager, Enterprise Expansion, is a pivotal part of our Sales Team, dedicated to growing Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) through renewals and expanding existing enterprise accounts globally. This role involves managing around 120 major accounts, collaborating closely with Customer Success Managers (CSMs), and working across multiple teams to deliver exceptional solutions tailored to complex business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive growth by identifying and executing upselling and cross-selling strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.
- Develop strategic account plans in partnership with CSMs, aligned with customers’ business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with executive-level stakeholders to foster trust and advocacy.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Legal teams to ensure smooth customer experiences and resolve challenges.
- Maintain up-to-date account records and insights in the CRM system to support informed decision-making.
- Travel occasionally (up to 3-4 weeks annually) for face-to-face client meetings to deepen relationships and gather insights.
Required Qualifications and Attributes
- 3-4 years of experience managing and selling into mid-market SaaS accounts with a gross merchandise volume (GMV) exceeding $5 million.
- Proven success in expanding portfolios exceeding $1 million in ARR through strategic account growth.
- Exceptional skills in building and influencing relationships with C-level executives and other key stakeholders.
- Strong ability to analyze data trends to spot risks and opportunities and deliver actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical details in business-centric language.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and surpassing growth and retention targets.
- Highly organized to manage diverse accounts and priorities in a dynamic startup-like environment.
- Technical proficiency in using CRM and reporting tools, with eagerness to adopt new technologies.
- Adaptability and resilience to effectively handle challenges and changes.
