About the Opportunity
Concrete business thrives on relationships. In the South Coast region, clients consistently contact us because they rely on our trustworthy product offerings. We're seeking an Account Manager responsible for nurturing and expanding our portfolio. This role involves overseeing civil and construction accounts in the region, pursuing upcoming projects, and providing exceptional technical and delivery support backed by a national supplier. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you'll independently handle your territory, collaborating with concreters and builders.
Key Responsibilities
- Increase your account portfolio through commercial insight and lasting client relationships that extend beyond individual projects
- Serve civil engineering, construction, and concreting customers while maintaining a robust pipeline of future work
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the region
- Develop deep understanding of key customers to proactively resolve potential issues
- Champion safety standards consistently across all sites and days
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience selling solutions within construction, civil, mining, or similar industries
- Self-motivated with the ability to spend significant time traveling and working independently in the field
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines without compromising customer service
- Strong dedication to achieving Zero Harm in all activities
