Job description
About Plexus
Plexus provides a Legal Operating System designed to help modern enterprises automate and grow their in-house legal operations efficiently. Despite legal departments protecting a vast majority of enterprise value, they often operate under severe constraints with limited resources. Plexus partners with major global companies such as Coca-Cola, Nike, and L’Oréal to enable significant productivity improvements—clients report up to 65% gains.
Role Overview
The Account Manager role at Plexus is a commercially critical position responsible for managing a portfolio of high-profile Australian enterprise clients and the associated revenue streams. The primary focus is to expand existing customer relationships through securing renewals driven by genuine platform value and identifying new business opportunities within current accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of enterprise clients end-to-end, overseeing renewals, expansion efforts, and senior-level engagement.
- Drive systematic growth initiatives to identify and close additional use cases within established accounts.
- Establish and nurture multiple relationships with key stakeholders including economic buyers, daily users, and executive sponsors across Tier 1 accounts.
- Negotiate contract renewals emphasizing value delivery rather than pricing concessions.
- Early identification of accounts at risk and proactive intervention to mitigate potential issues.
- Provide customer and market insights to inform product development and commercial strategy.
Candidate Profile
- Proven commercial experience spanning 2 to 4 years in account management, customer success, or sales roles with direct responsibility for revenue outcomes such as net revenue retention, renewals, or expansions.
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders including General Counsel and C-suite executives, supported by concrete examples.
- Disciplined use of Salesforce as a professional tool rather than a mere administrative necessity.
- Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments demonstrating high ownership and delivery standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in B2B SaaS or professional services sales.
- Familiarity with selling to in-house legal, operations, or risk teams.
- Knowledge or experience with structured account expansion methodologies.
