Role Overview
The Account Executive position is a field-based sales role focusing on client retention, revenue growth, and introducing new Gartner products and services. You will engage with C-level executives to craft and execute comprehensive strategies that maximize the value clients receive from Gartner offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee account management aimed at boosting customer satisfaction, retention, and business expansion.
- Manage a sales quota exceeding $800,000 in contract value within a designated territory.
- Consistently apply Gartner’s sales methodology with proficiency.
- Perform detailed account planning and territory management activities.
- Maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
- Stay informed about competitive market developments.
- Possess deep understanding of Gartner’s products and services.
Qualifications and Experience
- 6 to 10 years of proven consultative sales experience, preferably in technology-related fields such as services, software, or consulting, with tangible sales achievements.
- Strong intellectual capacity, motivation, presence, and sales aptitude.
- Demonstrated success in establishing strong relationships with senior executives within large enterprises.
- Proficient computer skills and effective presentation abilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the sales process lifecycle.
- Preferred bachelor’s or master’s degree.
