Role Overview

The Enterprise Account Executive (AE) will own business development and the complete sales lifecycle — from initial outreach to contract signing. You will strategically map and target accounts within your territory or verticals, creating an organic pipeline through outbound communication like calls and LinkedIn messaging. Collaboration with business development reps and channel representatives to handle inbound leads is key. Your responsibilities include identifying needs, presenting tailored demos to technical audiences, managing proof of concept phases, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer handover to success teams. Coordination with presales, technical support, product management, and executives will support closing deals. Additionally, you will work with Marketing to staff events and follow up on leads and provide accurate sales forecasting to management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect target accounts actively.
  • Achieve activity goals for calls, emails, and meetings.
  • Secure at least two new client meetings weekly.
  • Meet with two self-prospected new logo meetings each week.
  • Develop deep understanding of LogicMonitor's technology to effectively communicate its unique value.
  • Apply Vista Value Selling sales methodology to advance prospects.
  • Engage internal teams including presales, product management, and leadership to support customer progression.
  • Optimize trial experiences by proactively customizing dashboards and reports.
  • Tailor solutions to diverse customer needs and use cases.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 6 to 8 years of sales experience, including 4 years within SaaS.
  • Consistent achievement of 100% or more of sales quotas in at least 75% of career.
  • Proven track record in competitive, high-performance sales environments.
  • Experience selling complex IT solutions within technology companies.
  • Formal training in sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or strategic account planning tools.
  • Ability to clearly express complex technical concepts.
  • Strong skills securing new clients while managing existing accounts.
  • Proficient in outbound prospecting to generate initial meetings.
  • Experienced in managing complex sales cycles and documenting in CRM systems.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Successful track record in negotiating and closing new business deals.
  • Experience maintaining a robust sales pipeline with limited assistance.
  • Regularly provides accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
