As an Account Executive 3 in the DACH region, you will be instrumental in securing key enterprise customers. You will lead the entire sales process for new accounts, engage with top-level executives, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and illustrate Wrike’s role in enterprise transformation and return on investment. This role suits an energetic professional who excels in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment, using a consultative sales style to generate new business and strengthen Wrike's position as a market leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and close complex enterprise sales cycles, including prospecting, discovery calls, business case presentations, contract negotiations, and onboarding new customers typically with 5,000+ employees.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations to executive audiences demonstrating strategic insight, commercial understanding, and effective consultative communication.
  • Provide accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and maintain diligent CRM data hygiene using Salesforce.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on digital and operational transformation, expanding relationships through upselling and cross-selling within enterprise accounts.
  • Lead and coordinate internal teams such as Marketing, Sales Development, Solution Consulting, Legal, Security, and Implementation to ensure a superior client experience.
  • Navigate complex legal, procurement, compliance, and security processes in partnership with internal and enterprise stakeholders.
  • Keep abreast of SaaS industry developments and trends to deliver expert advice to clients and the team.
  • Support enterprise customers through organizational change and adoption initiatives ensuring all stakeholders are informed and prepared.
  • Ensure a smooth transition to Customer Success and Implementation teams with clear documentation of client goals and expectations.
  • Collect and relay customer insights, competitor intelligence, and market trends to inform Product, Sales, and Marketing leadership.
  • Provide mentorship and share best practices with junior Account Executives, contributing to overall team development.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Fluency in German and English (spoken and written).
  • Over 5 years' experience in full-cycle SaaS sales including acquisition of large enterprise accounts (Fortune 1000/Global 5000), managing substantial deals with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to execute complex sales cycles using methodologies such as MEDDIC, Challenger, or Question-Based Selling.
  • Strong executive presence with skills to articulate technical product value aligned with business ROI and customer needs.
  • Experienced in managing extensive sales pipelines and consistently meeting or exceeding quotas.
  • Excellent communication skills, adept in leading high-level executive meetings and product demonstrations.
  • Familiarity with handling enterprise-level legal, procurement, and security-related sales processes.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and relevant SaaS sales technology tools.

Preferred Attributes

  • Background in selling work management or project management software or experience selling to specific industries such as Marketing, Professional Services, Manufacturing, or Engineering.
