About the Role
Sonalika Tractors, India’s leading tractor export brand and among the top 5 global tractor manufacturers, seeks an experienced AC Panel Technician to join their maintenance and engineering team in Hoshiarpur, Punjab. This role involves sustaining and repairing electrical control panels and industrial air-conditioning systems within an automobile manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of air-conditioning electrical panels.
- Inspect and service electrical control panels and associated AC units within the plant.
- Diagnose electrical faults effectively and execute required repairs promptly.
- Manage electrical components including relays, contactors, MCBs, MCCBs, and circuit breakers to ensure optimal function.
- Accurately interpret wiring schematics and circuit diagrams for fault identification and repairs.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to avoid equipment failure and downtime.
- Assess wiring, motor connections, and control circuits to detect and resolve defects.
- Guarantee proper operation of panel cooling systems and related hardware.
- Adhere to electrical safety protocols and keep detailed maintenance records.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in maintenance of AC panels and electrical control panels.
- Ability to read and understand electrical wiring and circuit diagrams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relays, contactors, MCBs, and MCCBs.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and fault diagnosis capabilities.
- Experience in both preventive and breakdown maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and basic understanding of motors, starters, and control circuits.
- Good grasp of electrical safety standards.
Educational Criteria
Minimum 12th standard pass or ITI certification in Electrician, Electronics, or equivalent technical disciplines; ITI credentials are preferred.
Preferred Profile
Applicants with hands-on experience in automobile, tractor, automotive component manufacturing, or other industrial manufacturing settings will be given preference.
Compensation
Annual remuneration ranging from 300000 to 350000 INR.
