Ab-initio Data Engineer

Role Overview

This position calls for an Ab-initio Data Engineer with extensive experience in developing applications within the Ab-initio Metadata hub. Candidates should have a solid grasp of data lineage, metadata management, reference data development, and data analytics.

Technical Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 4 years experience in application development specifically using the Ab-initio Metadata hub.
• Strong expertise in understanding and managing data lineage and metadata as well as developing reference data.
• Experience working with relational databases, particularly Oracle, and proficient in SQL and PLSQL.
• Skilled in one or more of the following areas: data lineage, application development, and programming in Python or Java.
• Hands-on experience with any coding language or configuration tools within a development environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the full Software Development Kit (SDK) lifecycle.
• Proven ability to address problems pragmatically and operate independently or collaboratively within a team.
• Advanced skills in Ab-initio mHub as well as Python programming.
• Proficiency with programming languages such as Java, developing APIs, and Python.
• At least 2 years of professional software development experience outside of internships.
