Role Overview
Join Booker as an 18T Delivery Driver and become an essential part of our delivery team in Swansea. This full-time on-site position involves approximately 45 working hours weekly with shift schedules operating on an “Any 5 from 7” basis, including some weekends. We offer overtime opportunities and fully funded CPC training hours to enhance your professional skills.
Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of our team, you will ensure timely delivery of products to customers, maintaining their inventory shelves stocked to meet end-customer demands. Your tasks will include loading stock at the branch, driving to customer locations, unloading deliveries, and accurately completing all required documentation.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a Category C / 18T driving licence.
- A minimum of two years' driving experience is essential.
- Previous delivery driving experience is advantageous.
- Capability to perform manual delivery tasks involving physical handling of goods.
- Strong interpersonal skills paired with a positive approach to customer service.
- Proficiency in basic literacy and numeracy skills.
