PROJECT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete onsite responsibility for a project.
• Responsibility for performance of sub-contractors and vendors.
• Coordinates with all pertinent public agencies during the course of construction to comply with all on and off-site work.
• Monitors and manages project construction and financial closeouts to ensure proper documentation from all applicable agencies/parties.
• Works with multiple tenants before and during construction to choose, build and finalize finishes and coordinate equipment and other specialty items.
• Coordinates delivery of related finish materials, furniture, fixtures and equipment.

In addition to being an experienced Project Manager, he or she should exhibit the following qualities:

• Proficient at plan reading and material take offs.
• Good interpersonal, oral and written skills, a high level of professionalism and a team-oriented mindset.
• Exceptional problem solving, prioritization, organizational and time management skills.
• An organized approach to work and project details.
• Ability to deal with unforeseen challenges and a variety of personality types.
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical tenants.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5+ years of experience in construction project management or superintendent roles.
• OSHA 30 (preferred, not mandatory).
• Strong ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at one time.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, inspection reports, etc.
• Significant knowledge of construction methods as well as an understanding of municipalities and inspection processes.
• Ability to manage contractors, subcontractors and vendors.
• Ability to direct superintendents, project engineers and project managers to ensure accurate completion of project scope.
• Ability to meet sensitive timelines.
• Strong knowledge of building code and safety regulations.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year, based on experience.
