WANDERERS MEDIA WORKS Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a creative and meticulous Video Editor to produce high-quality video content tailored for digital screens and social media outlets. The successful applicant will be proficient in editing across diverse formats such as social media reels, corporate films, documentaries, vlogs, short films, and branded promotional videos.

Educational & Experience Requirements

A degree or diploma in Film, Mass Communication, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Animation, or a related discipline is preferable. Nevertheless, candidates with relevant professional experience and a compelling portfolio may also be considered. The role demands 2 to 3 years of experience in digital content production and video editing within creative and corporate environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit video footage for multiple digital platforms including social media and digital displays.
• Manage projects spanning various formats such as reels, short videos, corporate and documentary films, vlogs, and branded content.
• Comprehend creative briefs and transform ideas into captivating visual narratives.
• Perform full editing workflows including cutting, sequencing, transitions, pacing, audio editing, color correction, subtitling, graphic insertion, and basic motion design.
• Modify videos to fit diverse formats, screen specifications, aspect ratios, and durations.
• Collaborate closely with content creators, creative teams, and project managers to meet deadlines.
• Implement feedback constructively and efficiently revise content.
• Ensure consistent quality in visuals, storytelling, brand alignment, and technical standards.
• Maintain organized project files and implement version control.

Technical Skills & Tools

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Experience with DaVinci Resolve preferred.
• Expertise in video editing suited for social media and online platforms.
• Knowledge of storytelling principles, pacing, composition, sound design, and visual continuity.
• Advanced color correction and grading capabilities.
• Subtitling, graphic design, and basic motion graphics skills.
• Familiarity with handling different video formats, resolutions, and output standards.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills including version control.
