Role Summary
The TASKI Technical Specialist offers pre-sales technical support to sales teams and end customers by assisting with bids, proposals, and project implementation. The role centers on installing and demonstrating products onsite, collaborating with sales for customized recommendations, discovering new sales opportunities, and maintaining expert knowledge of TASKI and competitor equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on floor care machinery.
- Accurately diagnose faults and deliver effective technical resolutions.
- Handle customer inquiries about service agreements and equipment functionality.
- Keep detailed service records and track equipment reliability.
- Spot and pursue chances to market spare parts, consumables, and service contracts.
- Ensure excellent customer service throughout the service lifecycle.
- Efficiently organize and schedule site visits with meticulous weekly reporting of activities.
- Deliver user training on product features, operation, and correct usage.
Qualifications and Experience
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude with growing experience troubleshooting electronic machinery.
- Relevant industry background enabling effective technical support and guidance to clients.
- Minimum educational qualification: O-Level, Secondary School, Nitec, or Diploma; preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Preferably 2–3 years in similar technical or service roles.
- Basic computer proficiency for reporting and system maintenance.
- Possession of a valid Class 3 driving license.
- Good command of spoken and written English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
