Job Responsibilities and Requirements
We are looking for a seasoned Systems Administrator with over 8 years of hands-on experience in managing Windows Server and virtualization infrastructures. This role demands comprehensive expertise across Windows Server environments, Active Directory, VMware and VMware Cloud Foundation components, scripting with PowerShell, and network infrastructure management.
- Manage and maintain Windows Server operating systems and associated services.
- Administer Active Directory with an emphasis on group policy and DNS configurations.
- Implement and oversee virtualization technologies such as VMware and VCF.
- Develop automation scripts and manage systems using PowerShell.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software malfunctions efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain networking components including TCP/IP protocols, DHCP, and DNS services.
- Manage backup procedures and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity.
- Diagnose complex system and network issues and provide effective solutions.
- Support enterprise applications including Microsoft Exchange, Citrix, and SCCM.
- Address system vulnerabilities and complete vulnerability assessments and change request closure.
- Apply security best practices encompassing patch deployment and access control adjustments.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain clear communication and accurate documentation to support team collaboration.
- Willingness to work in shift-based schedules as required.
